It's Saturday evening and Sperry and I are in Steamboat Springs Colorado. The t has a new rod and has been performing well on the steep grades we have encountered today. Yesterday at 10 am the rod arivesd at C J Whitley's house. With his help we were able to instal the rod and leave Colorado Springs by 3 pm. We could not find space the camp ground at Mueller State Park. While making an inquirey at a local gas station a man and his son were looking at the t. They heard we were looking for a place to camp and offered their back yard. Being despirate we took them up on their offer and spent the night in their yard. The night produced a lot of thunder and lightening butlittle rain. This morning we drove thru very scenic middle Colorado. Tomorrow we plan to drive to Vernal Utah.
