June third and fourth

It is Wednesday night and John Acker and I have had two beautiful days of touring

Tennessee Missouri and Arkansaw.

Our route has taken us through many towns on US 70. We stopped at Ozone falls.

In Cookville we ate barbecue at Strouds. From Cookville we took state hwy 96 over Center Hill

Dam. We stopped in Franklin for avisit with John's daughter and granddaughter.

While traveling along US 70 we raced a train to the Tennessee River. We camped oon the

river in Nathen Bedford Forrest State Park. The view was great. The facilities not so great.

Wednrsday morning we had a breakfast of over easy eggs and bacin with toast and Jam.

We crossed the Missippi River just outside of Dyersburg. We passed thru southern Missouri

and entered Arkansaw. By 5 oclock we were in Hardy at the Days Inn. I never Thought a shower could feel so good.
