Cleaning spark plugs

Cedar Breaks National Monument

Lodge north rim of the Grand Canyon

To all of you who have been following my blog' thank you for your support and interest. This will be my last posting until I return later this summer for a trip with the t to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park.

Yesterday we went to Cedar Breaks National Monument. The t struggled in the morning with a fouled spark plug. After a cleaning of the plug and leaning out of the carburetor it was smooth running. The day took us to an elevation of more than ten thousand feet.. More beautiful scenery! On the way back Frank had problem with his t's magneto and made it back to Kanab with difficulty. The problem seems to be with too much crankshaft end play.

Today we went with Frank and Vickie in their truck to the Grand Canyon. I will post the pictures. Words cannot describe what we saw. Tomorrow we will visit Zion National Park.

After our visit we will leave the canyon area and head for Salt Lake City where we will leave the t and fly home. What a great trip and adventure. Thanks John Mat Sperry and Ramona for making for such a unforgettable event.
