Saturday June 6

Its been a couple of days since I have been able to find a yfi. Yesterday we left

Eureka Springs and traveled some beautiful back roads across the state lines of Missouri Oklahoma and Kansas. The t performed well on soom hilly roads. About 4o miles outside of Independence Kansas we stoped an filled manifold cooker with greasy fan belt goulash a recipe written in the Casual T's cookbook. I hour later at our Elk City Lake camp site we were enjoying our meal. Tasted great!

the only problems we have had thus for is my cell phone decided not to work while in Eureka sprins and a camp chair broke. Too much goulash.

Tonight we are in Wichata Kansas. John flys out tomorrow and Mat gets in tomorrow night.

Today's drivew was short only about 120 miles . The wind was the only issue. We rode with the windshield down most of the day.

  1. Well, this trip finally came to pass. It is really great to see you on your way. All this reminds me of the fram for The T setting on wheels in your driveway. I am envious and hope you enjoy the time as much as you have expected. - David Lewis

  5. Dear Mr. Toad,
How did Sperry manage to break an important part of Kermit? You can't take him anywhere, he always gets in trouble. I hope you guys are back on the road soon. Don't forget to make that broccoli in the manifold cooker, you need your green vegetables. I'll be joining you soon (with some clean clothes). It will be Mr. and Mrs. Toad's wild ride!
